I have spent the last two weekends (and lots of the time in between) moving and organizing and my address didn't even change! Three certain gentlemen moved into a new apartment this last week, and I had the priveledge of helping them get moved in. Don't worry, it wasn't as bad as it sounds- I actually like moving! (Crazy I know, but that's what happens when you've lived in eight different places in the span of 24 years!) I am one of those crazies who likes change and gets restless when things stay the same for too long. This is why I have to at least re-arrange my furniture every six months or so...
I'm always thrilled to watch stuff being built (a perfect example being the retail building that is going up right outside my window at work!) What will I do when it's completed? I guess I'll have to stick with people watching.
I love to get a haircut for the sake of trying something new and looking different. Although I always regret it when it no longer fits in a ponytail.
I love seasons changing too. If you ask me what my favorite season is, my answer will change depending on what time of year it is. I am usually anticipating most whatever is coming next. I'm still enjoying summer, but the thought of pumpkins and scorchingly colorful leaves is starting to creep in. Next thing I know, I'm thinking about crisp afternoons, apple cider and scarves...
My point (if you haven't already caught it) is that I generally embrace change more readily than most. Is that weird?

me too!!! but i thought we were polar opposites.....
squash? crunchy leaves? sweaters? bring it on, baby.
don't even get me started!
Ken says you don't know yourself - you really don't love change. He says you are one of the most conservative people he knows.
so....... eat it!
beautiful picture! It looks like what we saw in Scotland - I can't believe that was almost a YEAR ago!
Em- don't you think I would know myself better than Ken knows me?
possibly... but sometimes it's good to have an outside opinion. You know - lots of dillusional people think stuff about themselves that is totally wrong... not that you are dillusional... Joe Jr.
P.S. You DID conclude your post with "is that weird?" so I assume you were asking for people's opinions... ?
ORRRRRRR
Hi Lydia! Guess what?!?!?! My brother got into the Art Institute of Seattle!!!!! He is moving there in about a month and classes start sometime the beginning of Octobor. He is going to have to look for a place to live and a job once he gets there. He will be staying with a friend until he finds something for himself. Anyway, so this means I'm definately coming to Seattle sometime soon! I don't know any details yet, but I will keep you posted!!!! Yippie!
That's great! I'll be looking forward to it!
Lyd...Mea Culpa...the package is still in my car, but it will be so worth it when I actually have time to mail it!
