Life as a Coffee Master

Last night, I led a coffee seminar with my manager Troy and co-supervisor Ande! We introduced some of our customers to the wonderful world of coffee, with explanations of technical terms such as acidity and body. My district manager was there as well, and full of compliments on our success. I would write more, but the library is closing soon, so I will have to let the pictures speak for themselves!

hmmm... or maybe not... actually, i'm not involved in teaching the next one- they are passing it around to other coffee masters in the district. however, i might get to help with a seminar at a nursing home- talk about mixing my worlds!

you're going to help starbucks make caffeine addicts out of little old ladies and subsequently rob them of their hard-earned cash?!? dreadful. starbucks does not know when to stop.

Yeah right em.

"Well, Selma, you know, I've never much liked coffee, (I've always drunk tea ever since my mother gave me my first tea set in 1932) until I met that nice little girl who came to see us last Saturday and sold it to me for $4.50 a cup, and now I just can't seem to stop!"

Selma? That's like an Elle Woods name, not a Mabel, Edith or Shirley name. I think you were thinking of ALMA (check your battery).
