My family is trying to grow an avacado, it's not working too well...but the pineapple looks great. Oh, and a visit would be lovely...maybe I'll come in the spring so you aren't cramming too much into this next few months!!!
i don't know if that helps or not, but it would be fun to have a little avocado forest! however, that would mean i'd have to eat an awful lot of avocados... darn >: )

I hate to tell you this Lyd, but it's gonna be 30 years before fruit takes place. :(
However - to speed up that process, you might want to plant some other ones so it has friends. Doesn't that help somehow?
