That's what the insurance guy said in the message he left me this morning. "I'm sorry to inform you, but your car is being processed as a total loss." So now? Who knows! I guess I'm in the market for a car... a very cheap car...
I don't like how they phrase it though. Total loss... it would be if something really terrible had happened and I had lost all my friends and my limbs and things. But we're all ok, not even a scratch (ok, so I had a bruise on my head, but I think that's getting off easy for a total loss situation!)
And now, I would just like to give a shout out to all those who have been so incredibly helpful and supportive in this mess of a week. I am so blessed to have such a great network of friends! I've been given advice, prayers, rides, a car to borrow, and a lot of listening ears. "If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" (Eccl. 4:10) I know I'm very blessed to be in such a position that I have not just one friend to help me up, but many! So thank you! (And keep it coming!)

that's exactly the way i chose to think about it. crazy how they termed it a total loss, and in reality it caused me to gain! (not only financially, but in my trust of the way God provides for me!)
