The Perfect Pet
This is my fish, Sydney. I've had this little guy for over nine months now! Amazing considering I only remember to feed him every other day or so! He's been a good pet though- nice and clean, not too smelly, definitely not hairy or slobbery, allergy free, and not terribly loud (except at night when he's throwing rocks around his bowl!)

I once had an unamed beta fish. I was going to name him after the winner of the 2000 presential elections. The really odd part? The fish got sick and died before the elections were decided, (important things were riding on those recounts...a fish name!). That first fish was always rather languid and sickly though. I took him back to the store and got a new fish. This one was spunky and very healthy, (in fact he survived on my floor for several hours once and lived to wiggle his gill fins about it). Then the election results were final and I had a name for both fish, Gore for the first and GeeDub for the second!
I must say that Sydney really is an excellent fellow, despite his lack of smellyness and slobber! I always used to think that cats and communists were the only ones who didn't like dogs, but I guess I was wrong;)
She's a cat commie!
Or something to that tune.
Nice fish! I had a pet turtle once, I fed him a piece of lettuce once a week and he was happy.
