Married Life

Hmm, I think I got a little caught up in the festivities.. Well can you blame me? Wedding, Christmas, Honeymoon and New Years, all in a little over a week!

The wedding was wonderful- I hope to have pictures up sometime soon, as soon as I have time and the computer cooperates. Almost everything went according to plan, and we had tons of fun with family and friends.

The honeymoon was fun- we stayed at Alderbrook Resort on the Hood Canal. It was nice and luxurious, except that the towels were scratchy. What? Why wouldn't a nice resort have soft towels? I am still working on figuring that one out.

We spent Christmas day with my family: Mom, Dad, sisters and brothers-in-law, and were surprised to see snow begin to fall while we were opening our gifts! It's rare that we have a white christmas around here...

Then Bruce and I spent a night at Hotel 1000 in Seattle- we wanted to spend some time down there and do the tourist thing, just for fun. Funny thing- Hotel 1000 is apparently owned by the same company as Alderbrook, and they had the same scratchy towels!!! What?

So now, Bruce and I are getting settled in, adjusting to married life. We are still trying to figure out where to put everything! We are extremely grateful for the presents we received, but wish we had another closet in which to store some of them! I have yet to begin the tedious name change process... but hopefully that will happen by the end of this week.

That's all for now!
