Well, I had no idea it would take so much deliberation, but we have finally settled on a wedding date! It is... December 22, 2007!
I know, it's soon- can you all hear the circus music as I run around like a mad chicken trying to get everything together in time? But I am sooo excited! I have a vision in my head, and I think it's going to be beautiful.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my exciting news!

Just remember to enjoy the planning of your wedding...because at the end of the day you get married, whatever happened you will still be married! :) My 2 cents!
wow, congrats on the date!! short engagements are the best. :D though its slightly sad news for me, we will probably have to stick to the original plan of a trip next Aug. In December we will be broke, tired, and have a one-month-old baby. :D
Have fun planning! Don't listen to anyone in the wedding biz, they will all fall down when you tell them you're getting married in 3 months. It can be done with style.

Thanks guys! I know, I can just imagine the looks on their faces at the bridal shops when I tell them I need a dress by Dec. But honestly, things are already coming together quite nicely, and I haven't even been engaged for a week!
Oh, and heather, this means you had better come up in Aug now!!
totally. we're gonna start saving our pennies in January. I'm determined my baby will have his first plane ride before he's a year old. :D
Hurrah! And funny - that's my parents wedding anniversary. :P
