Well, the early days of fall are gone, and we have moved into a season of soggy leaves and rotting pumpkins. Aside from the monsoon-like storms that my part of the world has endured lately, I had a pretty good weekend. Bruce and I visited my family in Poulsbo. We had a good time catching up with Mom, Dad, Moi and Justin, enjoyed some good home-cooking, and had some fun disposing of Moi and Justin's less than perky pumpkins.
We returned to rain, rain and more rain! Have you all heard about the disastrous flooding here? Luckily, I live in an area that isn't seriously affected, but there are whole towns under water. And, as I look out my window here at work, the rain just keeps on coming. The streets are rivers, the drains are all clogged with leaves, and the clouds look loaded... (sigh) Time for some more tea...

Dude Lyd,
Sounds great. I would like to see some rain. :)
What would you like for CHristmas little girl? ;)
Ick. I heard about all the rain, closing down mount rainier and the cascades highway (my dad would be sad, that's his favorite place in the world). I'm glad you are ok!
I'm sorry it's so rainy. But it's good tea drinking weather, something I miss here in the throws of hot Florida.
