I'm home!

Hey Friends!

I am back and better than ever! I think this little vacation was exactly what I needed. It was so good for me to see a bunch of great friends and spend some time with the girls I miss so much! At one point, they nearly had me convinced to up and move down there for a year, but I think I've re-convinced myself that home is where I need to be for now. Both weddings were beautiful, as were both brides, and I had lots of fun getting everything ready in both places, as well as a splendid road trip in-between!

If you asked me the one thing I enjoyed most about this trip, I would say in a heartbeat that it was the many awesome deep conversations I had with so many different people. Whether driving in a car for hours, running errands, or trying to fall asleep at night, I had the opportunity to not only catch up with these girls, but to really reconnect and understand the struggles they are going through, and to explain mine as well. I think this is a true picture of the Christian community! We have that awesome bond in Christ that allows us to share with each other in complete humility and know that we'll be accepted in grace and love. My connection with these friends, as well as the ones up here, is that we have the same struggles, the same fears and victories, and the same hopes and dreams. Praise be to God for giving me such wonderful friends!
